She is passionate about building thriving social communities in workplaces, communities, and organizations. She is also a co-founder of @flourishing friends – an online community to encourage and cultivate stronger friendships. She is a Certified Business Intermediary, over- seeing several mergers and acquisitions. She was the former Chairman of the Utah State Charter School Board and a member of the Utah Governor's Education Commission. She has previously served as a member of the Utah State Board of Education, Honorary Commander for the Hill Air Force Base 388th fighter wing, Vice-Chair of the Layton City Planning Commission, and Staff Assistant in the US House of Representatives. She has also served as a campaign manager for several political campaigns. She graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Political Science/Business and is a licensed Real Estate Agent.
